The De Denne bursaries are an annual competition open to all embroiderers aged 18 or under, whether they belong to Young Embroiderers or not. To find out more contact the Young Embroiderers administrator.

All the winning work from the 1997 De Denne bursary awards was on show at the 1997 Design and Technology Show, NEC, Birmingham. Some pieces had sketchbooks with them to show how the work had grown and developed. These are two of the winning pieces. Click on an image to see a bigger version.
