Some of these projects are written specially for the web site, while others are from the Young Embroiderers magazine sent out to members three times a year.

We also link to other projects on the Web, and we're always excited to discover new ones. If you have a project online email youngembroiderers@hiraeth.com with the URL so that we can add a link to it. We're especially keen to find projects by or for young people and children.

Have a look at Tex's Guide to Stitching! Tex has been getting to grips with backstitch, couching and quilting, and he wants to show his friends what he's been up to. What stitches do you think Tex should tackle next? He just loves getting email, so send your messages to tex@hiraeth.com - he promises to reply to them all.

Hamilton & District Young Embroiderers had an investigative project running during summer 1998 - you might like to try it too.

The Birmingham Young Embroiderers Workshops is a new 'how to do it' feature, with lots of ideas to inspire you to get dyeing and stitching
