This project was created for a Pateley Bridge Young Embroiderers workshop on blackwork. It was designed to show light, medium and dark tones achieved in blackwork, and the patterns were chosen to give the impression of a tree.
| 1 | Mark the vertical and horizontal lines of your material |
| 2 | Start by outlining the bottom section of the tree |
| 3 | Follow the instructions on the diagram |
| 4 | Sew a gold star sequin at the top of your tree |
| 5 | Use double sided sticky tape to assemble your card |
