These colourful book covers
are made from things you would often throw away - old envelopes, sweet wrappers
of foil and cellophane, together with calico and net and some coloured threads.

The bookcovers were designed
and made by Claire Buckley. The instructions
were in the Summer 1998 issue of the Young Textile Group (now Young
Embroiderers) project book, and are now also available on-line.
