Don't miss the Museum of Costume if you're visiting Bath. You can go just to enjoy the beautiful costumes, or to study - they have a study collection that's available by appointment to students from GCSE upwards, and a Fashion Research Centre. Even if you can't go to Bath, the web site is well worth a visit.
