Our inspiration was the beautiful markings of animals - tigers, lions, cheetahs, ocelots, leopards, zebras, etc.

We used fabric dyes on calico. The marks were created by rulers, pencils, dowelling, corrugated paper rolls, sponges and rollers.

Afterwards we quilted them and stitched around the patterns.
