Question: When and where was the first Jacquard loom used in the U.S.?

According to The Book of Looms (subtitled A History of the Handloom from Ancient Times to the Present), by Eric Broudy (Van Nostrand Reinhold, 1979), the first Jacquard loom in the U.S. was imported by William H. Horstmann of Philadelphia in 1825.
